〔摘    要〕    美国皮尤研究中心在2015年9月15日公布了《图书馆正面临艰难抉择》报
告，该报告主要针对当前美国不同社会群体的公共图书馆访问量，及其对公共图书馆服务
的重要性认识、公共图书馆服务现状满意度和不同社会群体对公共图书馆多元化服务的需
求与期望进行了调查，结果表明美国公众对公共图书馆的创新服务感兴趣并认为图书馆在
社区中仍然占有重要地位。基于以上调查结果研究当前美国公共图书馆用户服务现状和多
元化需求，尤其是不同种族和不同收入群体的公共图书馆服务需求，从而为公共图书馆的
用户服务创新和发展提供参考。
